Vacations

Every Staff Member that you create gets 25 Vacation days by default. You can change how many days are avaliable for a specific Staff Member on the profile page of that Staff Member.

If a Staff Member is on Vacation, when trying to plan a Schedule or Shifts for that Staff Member, you will see that the system automatically marks those days as unavailable. This ensures that you do not inadvertently assign tasks or Shifts to a Staff Member who is unavailable to work due to their Vacation.

The Vacation days are calculated as 8 hours per day when printing out a Schedule.

Creating a Vacation

To create a Vacation for a Staff Member, go to the profile page of that Staff Member and select the Vacation tab. From there you can create a Vacation, as well as see all the past Vacations, and if the Staff Member is currently on Vacation.
